They get sooo excited when 

they see a word they know.  

This will give them some FUN practice.

It is Thanksgiving again!

Last year all I could do was post the words 

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

That was exciting in and of itself.

I have had FUN this last year.

I've learned tons 

with much more to go.

I count you among my blessings.

cutest little 
candy corn ten frame cards. 
 I wanted to do a 
Thanksgiving Thanks
to my viewers.

I have them scanned to a JPEG - Yes!
NOW
I have to get them here
for you to see.

Well I could not get the pdf to transfer
 so you will just have to make do with the pics.
Update!
I needed to use JPEG!
Now it should work.
Maybe I can do color next.

CANDY CORN 

Candy Corn Directions
Print onto cardstock.
Cut out each card.
Leave the face white.
Color the tummy yellow.
Color the bottom Orange.
Laminate.
For counters use buttons or whatever is on hand.
For a special treat use real candy corn as counters.
Kids LoVE IT!

T'was the Night Before Thanksgiving
A FUN story for Thanksgiving Time.
I like how this story plays the music
"Turkey In The Straw"
as the story is read aloud.

 The Thanksgiving Surprise
A story book read aloud.
The surprise ending is very cute.

Thanksgiving Started When? Videos FUN or Factual? Mouse on the Mayflower

We started with a video that was more factual.
It helped give the kids some background information on Thanksgiving.

History Of Thanksgiving Day

By Studies weekly 

 Before we saw the next video, 
we had a discussion about 
real and fantasy.
The kids knew a mouse telling the story was 
fun but not factual. 

We discussed some characters in the story.
Some were historical and some fiction.

We had a short discussion about one of our freedoms, religious freedom.

We also learned a little about 
New England winters.
 We have a new student from Maine.
First hand accounts are always interesting.

The Mouse on the Mayflower

It was a little long but the kids still enjoyed it.
