for a #DIY rhyming game.

The Kiddos had fun with 

Green Eggs For Sam I Am!

Read Green Eggs And Ham.
Look for words that rhyme 
and use some to make your own game.

Dear Reader,
This game is easy to make.
I reused green plastic Easter Eggs.
I wrote two rhyming words 
on the top of the egg and 
two on the bottom.
I used rhyming words that 
had the same spelling so
 the Kiddos could 
use the letter pattern as a clue.

We "cracked" the eggs 
(separated tops from bottoms) 
and we had "scrambled eggs" 
(mixed up eggs).
The Kiddos love scrambled eggs.
   
Each Kiddo in the center chose an egg.
They wrote all four rhyming words and 
at least one extra rhyming word they thought up.  
It could be a real word or a silly word.  
Silly words are so fun to use when rhyming.   
We wrote our rhyming words on recycled paper.

(Hint: I used a black Sharpie pen to write the words on the eggs.  
I used a tissue and rubbing alcohol to "erase" any mistakes.  
Then I let the ink dry over night.)

AWESOME APPS LetterSchool

I LoVE tracing letters on the train track just to watch the train. LOL
Oh, and the Kiddos LoVE it too.

I LoVE this AWESOME APP so much that I even bought the app for my classroom iPods.

& Friends.

The word is out that I use my iPods 
in a center every day. 
The Kiddos LoVE them.
I decided I better start posting some of 
my favorite apps because
people want to know.

When I first introduced the iPods to the Kiddos 
I explained that I put an app on my iPhone first. 
That way I can check it out and decide 
if it will be used on the classroom iPods. 
Soon Kiddos were asking parents to add apps
 to their iPhones.  
They were practicing at home!
How FUN is that?
