MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS - MINI GREENHOUSES - DIY Craft

Today we will start a little flower garden...

in our little greenhouses to give...

To Mom on Mother's Day.

We will reuse cups and containers from lunch.
(We started collecting them around Earth Day.)

Supplies 
Reused fruit cups (garden)
Reused sandwich containers (greenhouse)
Soil
Seeds
Stickers
Sharpie
Sunshine
Sprinkle of Water
Lots of Love

Now we wait...
Waiting Is Hard!

We will have a great day in Kindergarten today.

Hope you have a day of sunshine too.

UPDATES
The next day we could see rain in our greenhouses!

The next day we watched our greenhouse gardens sitting in the window and waited...
and waited...and waited.
Waiting is hard!

The next day we saw sprouts!
The little greenhouse helped our gardens sprout 
one day early!

Exciting!!!

The next day we took our Mother's Day gift home 
to give to mom, 
or grandma, 
or any special lady we love.

Note: 
The greenhouses worked better than I expected.
All my Kinder Kids had sprouts except for one, 
that is 24/25.
I let her trade out her garden cup for one of 
my extras I'd made "just in case".  
The greenhouses will also help with 
a safe transport home.

In time we will have pretty Marigolds to plant in flower gardens or vegetable gardens.
Marigolds are a good companion for tomato plants.
And they look like Sunshine!
