The Kissing Hand
Is A Must Read For The First Day Of School.
This book shares a secret for success on the first day of school.

Click the image above to purchase this book.

I LoVE to read this book on the first day of school to help calm and comfort all my students.
I encourage them to share the story with their parents and share the secret of
The Kissing Hand.

The next day it is a joy to see moms, dads, grandmothers and loved ones kissing the hand of their little one and saying "I love you."
I love these tender moments.

The students help me tell the story again
and we remember The Kissing Hand
Then we practice remembering our own parent's love with a hand presses to our cheeks.
Even if we did not get a kiss
we can remember the love.

Through out the day I will see a child slip a hand to their cheek to comfort themselves
and it makes my heart glad.

All children need a way to comfort themselves.
The Kissing Hand
helps many children find comfort
 as they start school.

Dear Reader,
How do you teach self-comfort to your own child.  I would love to hear your ideas.
Please share.

I am so Excited!
A grandmother shared a comment
on my Pinterest Post for The Kissing Hand.
"I gave this to my grandson who starts kindergarten today.
His mom says he loves it
and they are reading it nightly."

That is so wonderful!
It made me cry.
This gave me encouragement to continue...
maybe my words are read.
I am so happy that I can share with my own SunnyDaz Kids and beyond...
